Comment spam can be a bit of a problem. Although it doesn’t look like I have a problem on this blog, I do, the moderation system I have here prevents spam from showing up on the blog but my inbox is treated to a healthy dose of spam on a fairly regular basis. I’ve managed [...]

Firefox 1.5 RC1 has been released this week, RC2 should be coming in another 8 days or so and should be pretty much the same as the 1.5 final release. [Download RC1] Here’s a good Firefox extension I came across this morning, IE Tab, it allows you to open pages within Firefox using the IE [...]

I’ve just downloaded a new browser called Flock, it’s basically a Firefox clone (btw Firefox just hit the 100,000,000 downloads mark yesterday!) but with a few new features. Still, it might throw the spotlight [...]

I’ve just started playing with Google Reader, it looks pretty cool so far. It’s basically just an online news & rss reader. I guess it must be just released as I never heard of it before. With Google’s ‘personalised home’ you can add RSS feeds there, alongside your Gmail or whatever so that’s kinda handier. [...]

Yep that’s correct, 30gigs.com are offering free email accounts with storage space of 30 Gb! The last thing I need is another email account, what with the 1000 mail accounts which come with my website plus my Gmail account (and umpteen extra Gmail accounts there if I need them) but I decided to sign up [...]

Some big[-ish] news from the browser world this week, Opera have made the decision to offer their browser for free. This is a huge move for Oslo based Opera who before this charged $39 for their browser (there was also a free version with annoying ads at the top). With 100,000 buyers per year the [...]
