Still Winter

It was snowing today, can ya believe it? April the shaggin 4th and the snow was coming down in buckets. This bloody winter will never end. Global warming my hole. Someone would want to have a chat with Mother Nature. I would but we’re no longer on speaking terms, something to do with me calling her a skanky ho a while back … I had good reason to, late for work and an inch of ice to scrape off the feckin car.
The Finn’s like to boast about having four seasons, but no spring this year! Spring is probably the worst season here anyway. Summer is nice, but only 2 months. Autumn is gorgeous, not sure if i’ll stay around for the next one though.

    Was about 16C here on Saturday! With snow forecast for Tuesday night …. fecking Boston weather!

    A sun holiday would be nice about now Mick. Any recommendations? Nowhere too hot in case I metl though. 20-22C would be perfect.

    I was sure that we weren’t going to see our Spring either, this year. This last winter was lasting too long.
    Then, all of a sudden, the Spring came out and now we have at least 20-22 degrees in the daytime and around 8-10 degrees in the early morning. Clear and sunny days!
    It seems we’re having the right weather you like ;-)

    Wash DC is really nice this time of year before the summer humidity sets in.Can be variable temp wise.Sunday was 22C and sunny(got a bit cabbaged outside for the first time in yonks) We had some thunderstorms that raced through last night and cooled it down a bit.Today was only 13C but again sunny and clear.We make the most of it before we hide from the summer in the A/C.
    If I had the choice though I’d be off to Italia in a heartbeat.

    Hey Maca, I’d be glad to host you, but my home is big enough to allow that ;-)
    Anyway you could always come here and then follow one of Daithi’s tips and go to Florence :-)

    (Today isn’t good as two days ago, a little cold and promises rain…)

    Did I tell you that me and my wife will be in Ireland next month?

    Don’t mind that nonsense maca and get yerself over to Florence.Went there in 2001 and it was one of two trips that changed my life.You won’t get that looking at Knockwhatchacallit or Lough Bollock.I had to laugh at you wanting to avoid cold and rain and going to Ireland though.

    Going to Ireland for a special occassion … not for the weather, obviously :)

    Might be making a permanent move home soon enough!

    We’ll be there from May 2nd to May 25th, a long holiday! We’ll be around from North to South, from West to East.

    I have to admit that I lifted that from the “Preacher” graphic novels.A mental read that had me sore from laughing.
    I’ve signed up for some college courses for the summer and one of them will be Italian.I hope I don’t mangle it .

    I’m just sitting down to a lovely mug of scald and a plate of Choc biccies…ummmm..Pity it’s a bit hot to enjoy them properly.*thinks of a freezing St.Pat’s day*..maybe not such a pity after all.
