Dog gonnit! I was just writing a post last night which I planned to publish today telling you about a deadly 3D program i’d recently been playing with called SketchUp, which is great fun to mess with but carries a high price tag. Now what have Google gone and done? Released a free version forcing me to completely rewrite my post! Inconsiderate feckers.
Anyway … SketchUp … download it, it’s deadly.
Google SketchUp is an easy-to-learn 3D modelling program. Using a few simple tools you can create 3D models of houses, sheds, decks, home additions, woodworking projects-even space ships. You can add details, textures and glass to your models, and design with dimensional accuracy.
I’m so testing that one…just as I decide I want to design my own house to build.
