Crossword makes me cross

This is from today’s Crossword of the Day which appears on Google’s personalised homepage…

Anyone else offended by that?

p.s. crossword is by Puzzlerscave not Google.

Update: I decided to submit a complaint to Puzzlerscave. I just received a response … basically a fob off:

“Please report your complaint to the crossword’s submitter by leaving a
comment on the crossword.”

… so i’ve left a comment, I don’t expect any action though.

Update 2: Result! They have changed the clue …

    The crossword is one of the things I added to my personalised Google homepage, I do the crossword each day and just spotted this on today’s one.

    Being in a bad mood this morning I sent a complaint to Puzzlerscave to see what response i’d get. No response yet.

    (I remembered the maths thus time, I wasn’t going to risk that telling off again)
