Police in Italy have issued footage of a man who is suspected of hypnotising supermarket checkout staff to hand over money from their cash registers.
It probably seemed like a deadly idea at the time. Remember, with great power comes great chances to rip people off … or something like that.
The checkout girl told the reporters she couldn’t remember anything, she said that the man got closer to her across the counter, said something and then, while she was standing there unable to think or do anything, the man picked up the money form the drawer.
An accomplice of the man was distracting the other custemers in line.
Of course the police haven’t found the couple yet…
