11/24/2003: "NI Elections"

The elections are loomin in de North. As usual tensions are rising, it's gas reading the posts on sites such as Slugger O'T, there's a good mix of people, Brits and Irish from both sides of the border and across the water. There's some right good slaggin matches some days although there are a few characters which appear from time to time (and a few regular contributors) who take things pretty serious. Although, as offensive as they can be sometimes ya can't help but laugh at them. Some of the comments they come out with are plain ridiculous...especially when they start talking about the facist evil Free State (Ireland).

Actually the slightist mention of a free state or a united Ireland and they start crying, it seems theres nothin they hate more than the thought of a United Ireland.

Of course don't give a shite about the country you live in, let it go right down the drain and drag all the good decent people with it, so long as they don't have to join with the free state they are happy.
Lets stay in the beautiful utopia that is the current mess, with crumbling infrastructure, an economy which has fallen apart, a country kept afloat only by cash from GB, children growing up the same as previous generations - hating the opposite side and all the while the guns are being oiled in the background.

Gas fuckers..but not an iota of common sense, decency or even brains among them.
