04/07/2004: "China's got the power"

I was watching this on the telly last night and imagined how pi**ed off i'd be.
Beijing has decided to assert more control over Hong Kong politics, which according to some locals takes away their autonomy and democracy.
That may be overstating the issue but it must be troubling for Hong Kong'ers none the less.
