06/01/2004: "Virtual cussing..."

The bauld Slugger has been havin' a few issues le deanaí with folks resorting to insulting and name callin', generally lowering the usual high standard of insightful discussion which takes place. It totally spoils the atmosphere and in worst cases causes Slugger mgt. to remove what could be interesting and informative discussions.
Still, there's nothing new in that is there, the ranting on Slugger is wickedly mild compared to some of the crap you see on the net. Par for the course on discussion forums.
