06/01/2004: "Ranieri given the boot"

If you are interested in soccer (sorry...football...blaaah) you may be interested to hear that Chelsea boss Roman Abramovich has sacked Claudio Ranieri. Bit harsh in my opinion, I think Claudio has done a good job, especially since Abramovich has come on board and tried to manufacture a team by throwing together big names. It looks like Jose Mourinho (who?) is the replacement.
