Got an email from reader Ciaran O'Riordan about the software patent issue.
Ciaran is working for the Irish Free Software Organisation and offers the following voting recommendation for the June 11 vote:

Area: Vote #1, and #2
East: Avril Doyle, Eoin Dubsky
South: Brian Crowley, Gerard Collins
North West: Sean O'Neactain
Dublin: Patrica McKenna, Ivana Bacik

Use your vote. Oppose the patents!
