Previous post about Colin Farrell
In a previous post re Colin Farrell/Sam Jackson and the "female reporter" getting information the way I did is never sound. Here's a more accurate description of events:

In a British program about Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Farrell's lastest movie SWAT presented by British presenter, Kate Thornton, the following exchange occured:
THORNTON: What was it like working with Colin (Farrell), cos he is just so hot in the U.K. right now?
JACKSON: He's pretty hot in the U.S. too.
THORNTON: Yeah, but he is one of our own.
JACKSON: Isn't he from Ireland?
THORNTON: Yeah, but we can claim him cos Ireland is beside us.
JACKSON: You see that's your problem right there. You British keep claiming people that don't belong to you. We had that problem here in America too, it was called slavery.

100 Great Britons
Decided to check out the BBC 100 great British heroes which was running on BBC for a while. A few names stood out in the list,

Bono - since when is Bono British??
Bob Geldof - again, Irish.

Oliver Cromwell - probably the most evil person to come from Britain.

Interesting list... more..

Site thing
This is the kind of site I wish I could build, it should have been closer to the direction I went to from the start.
Maybe when i eventually rebuild I might have something along those lines but with the added but of je ne sais quoi (bollox) which I seem to infest sites with. more..

For fuck sake people, will ye go and sign the fucking petition!
It may not mean anything to ye but it will only take a minute to sign it.

The EU will shortly have 20 official languages in the EU and still Irish will not be one of them, it's time to change that!

Cory Report
Typical, British Intelligence is blocking the publication of the Cory Report which was due for release on Dec 1. It seems Cory cut pretty deep into the Joint Services Group which is responsible for all military intelligence matters in Northern ireland.
If I remember correctly it was the JSG (formerly the FRU) who basically ran the UDA. It has been claimed that members of the FRU were involved in the murder of Pat Finucane.

Samuel L is the man
A friend sent this on this mornin' I thought it was gas so decided to post it here, a little light humour to start the day!

"An English female presenter was interviewing Samuel L Jackson recently about the new movie S.W.A.T. and was asking about Colin Farrell

- Presenter: What was it like working with Colin?, cos he is just so hot in
the U.K. right now

- Jackson: he's pretty hot in the U.S. too

- Presenter: Yeah, but he is one of our own

- Jackson: Isn't he from Ireland?

- Presenter: Yeah, but we can claim him cos Ireland is beside us

- Jackson: You see that's your problem right there. You British keep
claiming people that don't belong to you. We had that problem here in
America too, it was called slavery. "

Samuel is the man, it has to be said!

More collusion and pending inquiries
The Belfast Telegraph this time tell us of Judge Peter Cory's reports which have been given to the Irish and UK governments who will of course censor the content before publication.

The article linked above explains the case where the RUC police force gave the UDA a handgun which was then used in up to 6 murders.

The reports are going to lead to a number of investigations by both gevernments into various murders including Northern solicitors Pat Finucane and Rosemary Nelson as well as senior RUC officers Harry Breen and Bob Buchanan.

Collusion..surprise..
The Sunday Herald publishes this yesterday. It talks about a report by Justice Henry Barron on the Dublin & Monaghan bombings of the 70's and how it appears there was collusion between British security forces and loyalists who actually carried out the bombings.

In case you don't know anything about the bombings they were on May 17th with 3 car bombs in Dublin and 1 in Monaghan. 33 people were killed and injured 240 injured.

It's worth reading:

Feeling tinn
Been a tad sick recently, hence the lack of recent postins. Still under the weather but such is life.
Shockin amount o' bugs n' viruses making de rounds these dayz. Theres a lot of daoine here out from work etc.

Course the weather isn't helping, it's neither good nor bad but sorta in between like. Twould be better if the temperature dropped by about 10 degrees, it'd kill off most of the bugs etc, or at the very least dry up the weather as it has been a bit moist of late.
